Here is the before. A nice enough shot of my kids, but kind of blah.
After: In PSE 6, I used MCP actions vivid color finder brush (love this!) and popped the background a bit. Then I used a warming action followed by a little bit of softening. I added a plain WM and that's it.
Just a girl trying her best to adjust after our 2nd cross country move in a year. I am a stay home Mom to three little ones. Love: Starbucks coffee, my camera, making my house homey, and hanging with friends and family. You'll find I enter way too many blog photography contests (hey, I was actually in the top 10 once!) and you will see that I am a non consistent blogger at best, but my intentions are noble.

Here you are Lily! Just a few (there are tons more to come...) Oh, I can't for the life of me get the blog pics to look as good as they look on photoshop, so they really look much better than this:)
I love this one. So sweet! And oh, I love this. Wilder is the cutest thing!
And Hudson? Cracked me up!
Here are two versions of the same shot. Thought is was unique. Much like this family!

Finally! Feliz photos are up!
Wow. I was so good about keeping up with this at first...
Life goes on. Sometimes blogging isn't my first priority. I have been meaning to get some pics up of a practice session I did with Feliz, our amazing au pair from Thailand. We absolutely love her and she enriches our lives in so many ways. She is also extremely beautiful, so taking these was pretty easy. I don't think the quality here looks as good on the blog as they do in Photoshop. I've got to figure that one out. Sharpening didn't seem to help, just made them grainy. Hmmm...
I think this is my favorite one of the shoot.

Before and After

BeforeAfter
I took our Au Pair, Feliz, out for a photo shoot last weekend (more pics to come). She is so beautiful, it was pretty easy! They all turned out gorgeous. In this shot, I just did some cropping, popped the color, and softened it a bit. I think it looks kind of dreamy. Love it!

Fix it Friday
This is a photo that I didn't take, I am just given permission to edit it from www.iheartfaces.com in order to participate. I thought it might be fun to see what kind of edit I could come up with!
SOOC:
My Edit:
Here is what I did using PSE 6
I actually used a couple of actions here. 1st I used PW "Bring out the eyes" action to make the eyes pop. I then I used Coffeshop action "urban grit" to add some texture and contrast on the sidewalk and a few other areas. After that I added a bit of purplish tint, then lightened a bit. That's it.
